Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is a popular American actor and TV host. She is well-known all over the world and especially in America for her lead role in the TV series 'The Closer'. Sedgwick's interest in performing arts, Broadway and acting began when she was just 12 years older. Sedgwick got her first introduction to Broadway through her mother. Sedgwick got her first professional part at the age of 16 on the television show "Another world".
