Kellie Martin is an American TV, film and stage performer. Her most notable parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) as well as Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". In addition, she is well-known as the lead in her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin, the daughter of a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt who worked as an nanny for Michael Landon's children assisted Martin to get her a character in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". In the years following her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting, and managed to secure significant roles on both television and cinema.
